Playing on the wii (we got it during spring break this past April), especially the basketball, frisbee, golf, canoeing and bowling games
Riding his bike or scooter
Going on trips with dad (grocery store, park, errands, or scouts--Tom is working with the Boy Scouts from church)
Ice skating
Current dislikes:
Transitions, especially from finishing something he really likes to a lesser preferred activity
Frustrations at the communication barrier we sometimes get, ie. when he doesn't know how to say what he wants
Recent Accomplishments:
He is in the process of learning to tie his shoes. He's able to do about half of it by himself.
Able to do monkey bars by himself
Can operate a portable dvd player by himself
I am told by the aides in a couple of the special-ed classes that Collin is a VERY good basketball player and can make a lot of shots.
Phenomenal sense of balance that he is able to use to his advantage in things such as climbing jungle gyms, bike and scooter riding, and ice skating
